The machine is fitted with class leading control gear from Yokogawa. The CX2000 programmable temperature and vacuum controller with integrated recorder allows an operator to quickly select and automatically run the desired program.

The display is a wide-viewing-angle TFT colour liquid-crystal display. The screen layout makes it easy to find the information you need, and a variety of innovations make it easy to adjust the display as needed.

The control panel is easy to operate through one-touch operations using the function keys, which are linked with the control monitoring screen.

The controller is easy to program either directly or remotely on a PC. Files can be quickly uploaded or retrieved from the machine via the Ethernet.

The external memory and networking capabilities allow for an unlimited number of programs with up to 30 program patterns available from the controllers internal memory. The program pattern and PV can be displayed one on top of the other during program control.

Users can choose which of six display types is most suitable for a specific application. For example, the user may choose a display that is similar to that used with ordinary temperature controllers, trends, alarm histories, or settings. In the program operation window, the CX Series can simultaneously display real trends and event statuses of measured values and set values, which is useful in the monitoring of operations.

CX Series uses flash memory as internal memory for storing measurement data. Flash memory is a type of nonvolatile memory that does not require a battery backup. Power interruptions will not cause it to lose stored data.

Thermocouple inputs in all CX Series models are channel-isolated. The high common mode noise characteristic enabled by isolated channel inputs ensures stable measurements.

The Ethernet-based communication function is a standard feature. With the capabilities provided by a Web server and e-mail, users can add network functionality such as remote monitoring and the generation of an alarm in the event of an abnormal situation.

The CX screen can be displayed using an Internet web browser such as Internet Explorer. In addition to displaying the CX screen, your web browser can check alarm status, report instantaneous channel values, and write message data to the CX. The Web server function lets you remotely monitor your CX units, making wide-area on demand monitoring a possibility.

The FTP client function in CX Series lets you automatically transfer, at preset times, data files saved to the CX unit’s internal memory. DAQSTATION supports as many as two servers - a primary server and secondary server. If the primary server fails, files will automatically be transferred to the secondary server.

DAQSTATION provides a variety of recording options that go far beyond the capabilities of conventional recorders. These features let you efficiently record just the data you need, saved to your choice of removable PC storage media.

Optional CompactFlash memory cards or Zip disks allow data recording over extended periods of time in automated recording systems.
